Salt Sisters - Intro to freediving evening
Always wanted to learn to freedive but don’t know where to start? Come join us as we host an intro to freediving evening with our very own SSI freedive instructors. Learn the basics of breath hold, rescue, and finning, while being in a safe and fun environment to ask any questions. Meet new peeps and find your tribe with SALT!

What you’ll learn:Basics of freediving physiology, run through on equipment/gear, breathing and breath hold techniques, equalisation, finning, and rescue techniques.

What YOU need to bring:Signed copy of our medical form, mask, snorkel, weights, weight-belt, fins, wetsuit (Just something to keep you warm so anything will do, even your old surf or SCUBA suit).
Who this is best suited for:Absolute newbies who want to get a taste of freediving. You will NOT come out with any formal qualifications, however you will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to start you safely on your journey into freediving! A great opportunity for those who just want to get their feet wet before committing to a full course! *You will need to be a confident swimmer already.
